After the 2008 financial crisis in U.S. it becomes difficult for students to afford higher education. Each year the tuition fee increase about 4-6 percent. For the purpose of giving information to parents and student The Princeton Review and USA Today make a combined effort to list the 100 “Best Value” collages. The list gives information about the affordable and good quality collage/university. Here are some of the top ranked universities.

Georgia College and State University

This university is located in the south of U.S. The tuition fee is around $4,000 annually and it offers financial assistance to almost 70% of the university student. Some forms of their financial aid are scholarships, need-based scholarships, grants, family loan.

Florida State University

It is located in Tallahassee, Florida, offers comprehensive doctoral research and medical program. Its undergraduate cost is around $150 per credit hour. And graduate tuition costs around $350 per credit hour.

University of North Carolina at Asheville

Located in Asheville, it is liberal art institution in University of North Carolina system. Its education and low cost programs is recognized by national collages. The emphasis during undergraduate studies is small size class, with excellent teachers.

James Madison University

It is a public university located in Harrison burg, Virginia. It offers bachelors, masters and doctoral program in 180 fields. It has the housing availability for the students who want to live in campus. The tuition fee is around $3,500 per Annam. The university aids financially in the form of Pell grants, SMART grants, scholarships.

University of North Carolina at Greensboro

It is a public university located in Greensboro. The university offers distance-learning program along with on-campus studies. There are more then 187 programs of different disciplines. The tuition fee at this campus is around $4000 per year. The strength of each class is about 20-27 which ensures the quality education.

Brigham Young University

It is the old private university in the locality of Provo, Utah. It is owned by a church. Annual tuition fee for the LED member students (church)  is less then $4,500 and for others around $8,000 which is also not more. More the 70% of it is funded by church. The university’s main focus is undergraduate education but it also covers few courses of graduation and post graduate.

University of Central Florida

It is a public university located in Orlando and is amongst the largest universities in United States. It consists of 12 collages in the city. By its effective educational programs it promotes students to take part in social growth and at very low cost of about $3,800 annually.

University of North Florida

This university is ranked at number fifth according to Princeton Review and has over 16,000 student enrolled. It has five collages. The average class size is 32. Tuition fee is about $3,700 per year which is not much.

Saving for Education

For planning to save money for education purpose, rise in fee must be taken into consideration which is around 4-6 percent each year. If living in the same locality of campus where accommodation and food is not a problem for student it is easier to save for collage education.

Financial Aid

Each university facilitates students; if they find difficulty in paying the tuition fee either in form of loan, grant or scholarships. Scholarships and grants are better options as there is no need to pay back also getting loan is not easy now as it was previously.
